Seeing for the first time

Claude Monet once said he would like to be able to see like a blind man who suddenly regained his sight. His statement is as profound today as it was a century ago.

It is easy to become jaded, through over-exposure, with our own opinions on what constitutes good art, or a well crafted advertising headline or news release. As an artist and copywriter, I find Monet’s refreshing, ego-adjusting, anti-self indulgent insight quite inspiring.
