‘Well Stacked’: Oil on Canvas 30″ x 36″
Part of the ‘Foodscapes” Series.
I am taking traditional themes (food, in this case) and treating the subject more like a slightly abstract, impressionist landscape. I am portraying food in a new light and perspective, so to speak.
‘Tomato/Tomaaato’: Oil on Canvas 30″ x 40″
The colours explode in a frenzy of reds and yellows in this display at the Jean Talon-Market in Montreal’s Little Italy neighbourhood.
From my continuing series of ‘Foodscapes’.
“What A Choice!”: Oil on Canvas 30″ x 36″
Call it “Food for Art”, or just simply “Foodscapes”. Another in my new series devoted to food that is both delicious and delectable to the eye. Art that looks and tastes good! (A figure of speech, of course; please do not attempt to eat the canvas).
Potato, Patato: Oil on Canvas 15″ x 30″
A little different from my usual work: part of my new “Foodscapes” series.
Chalet – Oil on Canvas 16″ x 20″
2014: Commissioned painting.
‘Tugboat: Pictou, N.S.’ 2014 – Oil on Canvas: 24” x 30”
Serenity on the water: A loan tugboat glides gently on the blue waters off the Northumberland Shore of Nova Scotia, Canada. The blue tones and gently rolling waves create a very peaceful mood.
Sunlit Barn – Oil on Canvas: 20″ x 24″
Mont St. Hilaire, Quebec
